PMSEA and MGB-CO assists Cordillera Regional Disaster Coordinating Council after Typhoon “Pepeng”
The PMSEA and MGB-CO assisted the Cordillera Regional Disaster Coordinating Council (CRDCC) in responding to the damage of Typhoon “Pepeng” by bringing in a Water Purifier System. The NOAH Water Systems Purifier was brought in on October 14, 2009 and is currently being used by the CRDCC in distributing purified water to affected residents and those at evacuation centers.
Along with the Water Purifier System, 100 cadaver bags were also provided by the PMSEA and MGB-CO. Also, 750 meters of PMSEA hoses were also used in recovery of a miner covered by a landslide in Baco Kelly, Gumatdang, Itogon, Benguet.
